Important Announcement and
Information for a Rally
Come to the Rally on Saturday June 18, 2005! Wear Red, White or Blue and

Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona.
Congressman Rick Renzi has announced a Congressional Hearing in Pinetop,
Arizona on Saturday June 18, 2005.
The hearing will focus on improving the National Environmental Policy
Act.
“The National Environmental Policy Act was intended to ensure that
federal decisions are made in an environmentally sound manner, not to stifle
community and regional economic development,” said Congressman Rick Renzi.
“We must balance environmental protection and the implementation of
NEPA with
Arizona
’s growing economy."
Arizona citizens
will gather for a Rally prior to the hearing. Individuals, business owners and
members of civic groups are expected to share personal experiences related to
the environmental policies of the United States.
America's environmental policies and
legislation have not produced the intended results and the Endangered
Species Act and the National Environmental Policy Act have been disastrous for
citizens of western states and natural resource producers across our country.
Every aspect of our economy is affected by this legislation. We have only
begun to witness the disasters occurring across our country while these
impediments to American ingenuity adversely affect our environment.
Have you noticed the price of gas lately, or did you sit in line, in Phoenix while
the pipeline was being repaired? Have you experienced interruptions in
electrical supplies or are you concerned that the next blackout may affect
you? Has your business ever experienced delays or impediments to progress
while complying with environmental regulations? Has your family
experienced limitations while trying to enjoy our public National
Forest Lands? Has environmental litigation contributed to the hazardous
conditions of forest land near your home or business? Do you fear a government
that is out of touch with its citizens and unresponsive to their needs?
Show your support for American citizens and the natural resource
producers that fuel our economy and put food on our table. Come to the Rally
on Saturday June 18, 2005! Wear Red, White or Blue and plan to meet between
8:30 and 9:00 AM at the BlueRidge High School Auditorium, Pinetop-Lakeside,
Arizona.
